Normann Copenhagen is a Danish design company and brand created by Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen in 1999 with the mission to create original, bold and eye-catching products in a simple and contemporary design that withstands the test of time. Or in other words, to challenge conventional thinking and make the ordinary extraordinary through great and innovative design.
The Danish designer Simon Legald has created a range of kitchen utensils where excellent quality and exclusive natural materials go hand in hand. The entire range is made of solid oak and robust marble. Simon Legald says: "The mills, mortar with pestle and rolling pin are all traditional kitchen utensils used for active jobs in the kitchen. Therefore the utensils must naturally be durable. Additionally, the work is done by hand, so for me it is essential that the quality can not only be seen but also felt when holding the products. The marble and oak served this purpose perfectly".
The Craft Salt and Pepper Mills are an excellent quality mill in exclusive natural materials. The flaired shape and weight of the mill makes it comfortable to hold. Hidden inside of Craft is a ceramic CrushGrind grinder. This is one of the leading brands on the market used for mills. CrushGrind has been tested to grind salt and pepper for an equivalent of up to 200 years use in a normal home without showing any notable wear. A long-lasting body of solid oak, along with a sturdy knob made of marble, makes Craft suitable for frequent everyday use. The Craft Mills are sold separately and look beautiful in the kitchen as well as being a decorative addition to the dining table. The dark and light marble knobs elegantly underline the simple function of the mills indicating whether it's salt or pepper.
