Marimekko is a Finnish design house celebrated worldwide for its original prints and colours. Founded in 1951 by a visionary woman Armi Ratia, Marimekko is said to be one of the world's first real lifestyle brands combining fashion, bags and accessories as well as home decoration into one unique point of view.

This tea towel is made of an unbleached cotton and linen blend in the Melooni pattern. The towel has a hanging loop. 46% of the cotton and 21% of the linen used in this product is recycled. A large, laid-back pattern of stylized natural forms, Melooni (melon) is one of the many designs in Maija Isola’s output of the 1960s that superbly captured the spirit of the times.
