Melbourne based sisters Bliss and Bonnie Adams founded Marble Basics in 2014. It is an homage to their signature pared-back, timeless design aesthetic. Their dedication to Marble, a durable and enduring material is channelled in contemporary, basic and everlasting products, all thoughtfully designed by the sisters.
All pieces handcrafted by artisans are conserved and created in luxurious materials, to be used and appreciated in everyday life. In an increasingly complicated world, Marble Basics takes you right back to the Basics.
The Marble Basics Basic Obelisk is a sculptural centrepiece. It makes a striking paperweight and can liven up shelving or a bare table. Place two Basic Obelisks either side of a fireplace for a contemporary play on a traditional decorating concept. A cluster of three on a dining room table is a powerful way to create something sculptural, or your own art piece. The Marble Basics Basic Obelisk looks stunning amidst a collection of meaningful objects, like your favourite vase, family heirloom or photo frames. Please note, the top of the Basic Obelisk has been slightly rounded to soften the sharp pointed tip. Handcrafted, honed white and grey marble.
